- Ash Hutchinson Added February 24, 2024★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We were at the beach and there was a massive rip, me and my sister got dragged into it and I was atleast 150 meters from the shore. My sister was screaming and had her hand up trying to get the lifeguards attention whilst also trying to save herself. The lifeguards just looked at us and did not help at all!!! I got stuck under water for around 40 seconds and my other sister had to come save the both of us as she is in a lifeguard program. Clearly a better program then the lifeguards at this beach!! When I was back to shore I passed out on the sand, still no help from the lifeguards who looked like they were zoned out!!

It is a smaller resort but that’s where the magic is, it’s so peaceful and quiet and you are surrounded by so much natural beauty and nature. There are lovely beaches nearby as well as the beautiful lakes to explore. Definitely check out seal rocks and Forster Tuncurry. The people at reception and maintenance were lovely and easy going too so that made it so much better than at some of the bigger resorts, will definitely come back
